Best Demonstration Paper Award on SSTD 2011

The demonstration paper titled "Spatial Outlier Detection: Data, Algorithms, Visualizations" was awarded with the Best Demonstration Paper Award by the the 12th International Symposium on Spatial and Temporal Databases (SSTD 2011). The paper written by Elke Achtert, Ahmed Hettab, Hans-Peter Kriegel, Erich Schubert and Arthur Zimek and demonstrated by Erich Schubert at the conference was selected as the best contribution at the SSTD demonstrations track.

The software used for the demonstration marks the version 0.4 release of the data mining framework called "ELKI: Environment for Developing KDD-Applications Supported by Index-Structures", which is available as open source at http://elki.dbs.ifi.lmu.de/.
